Robert Rackley Counseling and Psychotherapy

I am an accredited psychotherapist, speaker, and trainer specialising in ADHD, autism, and neurodivergent mental health.

Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. My own journey led me to complete a Master's Degree in Autism and Neurodiversity and dedicate my career to helping neurodivergent individuals better understand themselves, improve their wellbeing, and navigate a world that is often not designed with neurodivergent minds in mind.

Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of neurodivergent clients, supporting individuals experiencing challenges related to ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, emotional regulation, masking, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), self-esteem, relationships, and late diagnosis.

Alongside my clinical work, I deliver professional training to therapists, healthcare professionals, educators, and organisations throughout Ireland. My training focuses on helping professionals better understand neurodivergence and create environments that are supportive, inclusive, and neurodiversity-affirming.

My Master's research explored why ADHD often goes unnoticed in adults and the impact this can have on mental health, self-esteem, identity, and access to appropriate support. This remains a particular passion of mine, as many adults spend years believing they are lazy, disorganised, or failing before discovering that ADHD may be part of the picture.
